The use of illicit and/or misuse of prescribed drugs and the use of alcohol can impair performance at work and can be a serious threat to safety and environment, health and productivity. RUBiS wishes to ensure that all employees recognize this threat and aims to minimise the risks involved. In order to achieve this end a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing programme was introduced in 1995. RUBiS also expects that persons or companies contracted by RUBiS have a similar drug and alcohol policy and reserves the right to randomly test contractor employees for cause.
